Publishers integrate Outbrain's widget to recirculate content and monetize clicks from external audiences, while advertisers bid per click to distribute content across a network of partner publishers.
For publishers:
Outbrain automatically issues payments via Tipalti once your account reaches a monthly revenue threshold of $50. No invoice is required. Payment terms are standard net-60 or net-90, depending on the client's contract.
For advertisers:
Advertisers must commit to a monthly budget of at least $600 (equivalent to $20/day) to run campaigns. The bids are priced on a cost-per-click (CPC) basis, with a nominal minimum bid of approximately $0.03. However, competitive bids typically range from about $0.40 to $0.60 on mobile devices and from $0.80 to $1.00 on desktop devices. Outbrain accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover for automatic payments, charged in $100 increments.
